I'm not a doctor, but I remember reading this in my Neuro-Psychology book, so take that as you will. As I understand it, you don't feel tired for the majority of the day. If you feel fine on 5 hours of sleep, thats the amount that works for you. I normally only want 6, if I do 8, most of the time I don't feel any better.
Or did I miss the point and you do feel tired for the majority of the day?
