1. That was November, this is September. Historically, wilder jumps are made in September due to the lack of data in the pre-season polls. No one, not even the Razorbacks themselves, knew how good they were until September 13, their second game of the season. (Either that or Texas was WAY overrated. Which explanation would you prefer?

2. Texas wasn't #1, and Arkansas was an almost-ranked team ("receiving votes" and upper 20s-low 30s in computer rankings) before beating Texas. A&M was a mid-40s (as per computer rankings) team at best.
3. OU-A&M last year was in College Station. A&M might have actually got ranked if they had done it in Norman.
If Arkansas beats Alabama at Tuscaloosa on Saturday, will you finally admit that Texas got beat by a superior Arkansas team? Or are you going to keep crying about Arkansas until Kansas State and Oklahoma have Roasted Bevo™ for Oktoberfest?
