Texas Christian - 19 - nr (@ Arizona) 20. Washington - 16 - hm (@ Stanford) Honorable Mention: Pittsburgh 13, Purdue 12, Missouri 9, Washington State 8, Toledo 3, Florida 2, Oregon State 1 Oklahoma was #1 or #2 on every ballot. Miami was #1, #2, or #3 every ballot. Michigan (loss by 4 on road to ranked team) fell almost as far as Kansas State (loss by 7 at home to unranked team). Top 13 present on all 9 ballots, as was Texas. Minnesota and Nebraska were on 8 ballots; Kansas State and Pittsburgh were on 6 ballots; Northern Illinois, Texas Christian, and Washington were on 5. One person sent in a Top 25 ballot; only the first 20 were counted. Another person had Oregon on his ballot twice, I assumed he meant Oregon State for the second one, which was a #20 vote anyway. |

Now see, I don't mind this ballot because Oregon is rightfully ranked higher than Michigan. I put Texas in the top ten because, hell, I'm biased, but who isn't? Anyways, expect my vote after next weeks games.

Some quick observations:
1. Miami and Oklahoma are the favorites by a pretty wide margin. This poll also follows the others with seperation of the top four teams from teams like Florida State and Virginia Tech. 2. Michigan leads the pack of "contenders" that have suffered an early loss. This is probably correct, because Texas's loss was probably worse (at home). 3. Although Michigan fell just about the same amount of spots as Kansas State, Michigan got a bunch more points. 4. TCU makes an appearance, although below Northern Illinois, which is probably correct. The TCU/Cincinnati game is gonna be a good one. 5. I am glad Toledo got points, and was surprised to see Florida received any. Thanks for the poll RoadRage. |

Again, I'm disappointed that y'al voted to put Arkansas in front of Texas.
Sure hope you change your ballots when they get beat by 'bama ![]()

I don't foresee anyone changing their ballots (in relation to Arkansas and Texas) until Arkansas loses. |

![]() 2. Texas wasn't #1, and Arkansas was an almost-ranked team ("receiving votes" and upper 20s-low 30s in computer rankings) before beating Texas. A&M was a mid-40s (as per computer rankings) team at best. 3. OU-A&M last year was in College Station. A&M might have actually got ranked if they had done it in Norman. If Arkansas beats Alabama at Tuscaloosa on Saturday, will you finally admit that Texas got beat by a superior Arkansas team? Or are you going to keep crying about Arkansas until Kansas State and Oklahoma have Roasted Bevo™ for Oktoberfest? |

we are playing arkansas @ arkansas next year and I'm sure we'll have fun there
![]() If that happens, we'll have pretty easy path at going as a 1 loss team.

Ok, Dude, I would appreciate it if you just shut your big YAPPER!! I have no idea how many times you have cursed the University of Texas by saying that we will win. Don't do that, it's bad ju ju, case in point, Jeremy Shockey calling Bill Parcells a homo, and Shock only catches two passes, Giants lose the game. I cringe everytime you make predictions. Yes, I believe it's a possibility that Texas will beat OU, if they are running on all cylinders, but please for the love of football, don't make predictions! Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but I really do cringe every time you mention that "Texas WILL beat OU."
