Being of no particular religious affiliation, instead of the traditional church, I want to be married in this small theatre in my hometown. It's 100+ years old, very gorgeous. It would be very easy to decorate--a few candles, some drapey fabric, and voila! I'll probably have a rather traditional dress and veil....ivory, not true white because white washes me out. Then a reception with food and wine and dancing.
Too bad I'll probably never get what I want...I'm going to have to have two weddings, just like I had to have two graduation parties. I hate being in the middle of a family of alchies and a family of tee-totallers.
