OK, so it's not up to ART's example but hey, it didn't start out to be a poem. Anyhow, Ratbastid already told what went down in our neck of the woods.
The thing that didn't happen this time was the adoption of a cat. Every inland hurricane so far has brought us a cat. It seems a shame to break with tradition but we're already 1/25 of the way to 50-cat-crazy.
