Well, maybe i didn't make my point clear enough. i probably wont in this post either, but no matter. Its is definately not the RWD alone that makes most of the cars at teh autocross win over FWD cars. My point was that lack of FWD cars taht even compete. Now i live in whats practically the ricer capital of the world, so everyone and there mother buys a FWD car to take to the drags. that might have something to do with it. I guess im trying to say there aren't many FWD autocross cars, and the few there are dont usually do as well as RWD competetors in the same class.
As for classes, yes there are different classes. Me and my brother normally show up for the practice days rather than the actual competition days, simply because there is more track time. Even so, my bros 2nd gen RX7 convetible does get tossed in the same class as some vipers, corvettes, and i think even an NSX on some of the practice days.
