I was sooooooo sick, damn, I'm not sure I've ever thrown up that much before, except for w hen I had a severe intestinal bacterial infection. I"m glad I did, cuz my ex was an ass, and I didn't want to have his baby. So I'm glad I took it, and it was certainly worth it.
In general, it's best if both parties are prepared for birth control, if he assumes you don't have any, so he brings condoms, and vice versa. That way, if there *is* surprise sex, then you won't have to worry about it.
Oh, and I was 8 pills for me, with 3 seperate doctor's visits. Each doctor, clinic is different in how they do it, I think. My ob/gyn insisted that I take them there, and stay there for an hour, to make sure everything was ok.
Now, I take the depo shot, it lasts for 3 months, yay!!
Still, remember about STD's, birth control won't prevent against diseases. Pregnancy isn't the only thing to worry about.
