exactly right.
my preference as the hypothetical groom would be a very simple event held outdoors (which would make it a spring/summer wedding in many parts of the country), nowhere near a church, and over in a fairly prompt and cheap fashion while still making it a >insert cliche here about "perfect day"/"most special day of your life"< .
