you could say i'm one of those paranoid people who give as little information as they can when signing up for stuff on the internet. if you look at my profile, you can see this as well.

and as a chinese, born to first generation chinese immigrants, who are very superstitious, i'm very cautious about handing out my real date of birth and place of birth. we were taught this so that no one can make a voodoo doll of us. i don't know, don't ask how.

with that said, i have a file and some mail i need to get from my yahoo! account which i have lost the password to. the very first time i ever change my password and i go and forget it. well, i tried to 'forgot password' link, and it asks for a birthdate. i don't remember what i put. i was going to mail yahoo!, but they wouldn't be able to verify any of the information as none of it is correct -- random information about me at the time of my signing up.

so is there any way i can recover this lost password without the help of hypnotizing my self and retracing my every thought and footstep to about 1.5 weeks ago. come to think of it, i should check mail more often, maybe then i'll remember it.

is there any way? thanks in advance
