I always try to hold off till the girl comes first.
I have enough control that most of the time I suceed.
Then I slow down but keep the strokes coming and slowly speed up again. This brings the girl back into it and if you are lucky she has a second whilst you have your first. If she doesn't have a second she isn't likely to mind too much as she did have one and some more pleasure on top.
