Yeah, sex is like that. It's not some magical thing that guarantees pure pleasure. I think you just realized the truth about preconceptions....you might be wrong. I think a lot of people who are 'saving' themselves do so because off a gatsbyesque notion that sex will be a purely blissfull experience if they wait for the right moment, only to be dissillusioned. But don't worry, it will get better with practice, and it is still the most intimate thing you can do with another person.
