Ouch....$12000-17000 as a settlement? I really think most University students (or most people for that matter) don't have that kind of money laying around to pay that.
It's really disgusting that these people get away with Price Fixing and making it too expensive to buy the CD's you want and then sue your ass when you find a different way to get the music you like.
