The problem here is that the Bears had that one fluke season were they went 12-4 with the weakest schedule ever. They only beat one playoff team that year (the Niners), only on a fluke play to force overtime and then sqeaked by there. Every other time they played a quality opponent that season, including the playoffs, they got destroyed. But they had a pathetically easy schedule and weak division (still managed to get swept by the Packers) and Chicago fans thought they were back. Unfortunately, it was all an illusion. Jauron should have been fired years ago. This is a team that should be trying to rebuild slowly, but because of that fluke season, the fans expect a contender, and are disappointed when they have a game like sunday. The decision to sign Kordell was not very bright, and it looks like the A-Train has lost his magic. Urlacher may be incredible, but he needs quality players around him like Roosevelt Colvin. They need to use Urlacher to anchor a dominating defense and use a ball-control offense that doesn't turn the ball over. So why would you sign Slash?
