I believe a soulmate is someone who has all the traits which fit perfectly with your own, thus creating as perfect a relationship as you're ever gonna have in life.
Everyone's ideal mate is different, and odds are there are ALOT more than just one potential soulmate walking the world at a given time, for each person.
I just haven't found mine yet
