Contact eBay and have them call him.
I have recieved a few calls myself from eBay but that was because of anal retentive sellers who expect me to get them a money order in 3 days over the weekend.
Its nothing harsh just a reminder call from eBay to let him know that his end of the deal needs to be met.
If that doesnt work then I say continue with the emails.
At least this way it shows put forth the effort to complete the transaction.
