Get a Ruger 10/22 Magnum. That way you can convert the barrel to a 17 HMR, and you will not have to worry about noise from that thing. Its not real quiet, but is not much louder then a .22 Long Rifle.
Also, the velocity from it makes anything you shoot, insides to jelly. So shooting coyotes would be no problem.
