Run when it works for you is best. No optimal programme will work if you miss workouts regularly because that is not optimal for your lifestyle. energy levels etc ..
The morning workouts can burn = calories
But if you are smart they can burn a greater amount of fat calories i.e. fat makes up a greater proportion of the same number of burnt calories. Glucose or sugar is used by the brain all night and is a little low in the bloodstream come morning. So the body will have to fight for more protein and fat. There are things you can do such as the ECA stack to enhance this even more.
But ..... fat MUST be burnt with oxygen or NO energy at a muscular level. So this means you will feel yourself working hard but your split times may not be near your best. So if your goal is fat burning then great! If it is anaerobic fitness and competitive running .. bad!
If your interested in more just ask and we can discuss effective timing and type of breakfasts after this training and also after a night run. Hope to hear from you.
