Another good/fun round in a rifle is .243 or .270. Small fast rounds will take down a yote easy enough, but you may have to watch out for the bullet exiting and still having power. When I go out and hunt yote nobody is around but me for miles, so a .308 does me great.
Basically it just depends on how well you shoot. I shoot yotes with a .22 and havent not killed one yet. But Im not shooting over 100 yards and always go for a head shot.
