Zombies!
Nothing scares me more than a good zombie flick. If you are a serious watcher of zombie films, you'll know that there are even different kinds of zombies.
For example, George Romero zombies (Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead) are slow, stupid, strong and can't talk. They also seem to enjoy chomping down on the whole person. Arm, leg, head, doesn't matter to them.
Dan O'Bannon zombies (Return of the Living Dead, et al) are fast, smart (they can actually ambush people) and can talk. Also, they only want to eat the brain. "More brains!" they yell. Alot.
While I think "Return" is a damn funny and inventive movie, I have to stick with Romero and his slow-walking, slow-witted, zombies. They're the one's who brought me to this dance, so I feel like I gotta waltz with 'em. There's definetely a soft spot in my heart for those flesh eating guys and gals.
So, which do you prefer? Romero? O'Bannon? Is there some other zombie flick that's claimed a place in your heart?
