I really would hate to be a die-hard Warriors fan.
Their latest move has them trading Bob Sura for Cliff Robinson and Pepe Sanchez.
So there goes the whole Salary Cap motivation. Sura was in the last year of his contract whereas Uncle Cliff has about 2 years left and is probably a bit overpaid for his age/ability. I can see Cliff starting at SF over Dunleavy unless Dunleavy has gotten a lot better this offseason. It makes the Warriors better this season but I can't see NVE and Cliff being too happy if they're not in the playoffs.
Pistons on the other hand needed to clear one of their frontcourt players (after signing campbell) and they got a backup defensive SG just as they require. Sura is overpriced but he is in the last year of his contract so they can hopefully resign him for less next year. Good move by them.
Not really a big trade but will still have an effect on both teams.
