dredge the wings in flour and let them sit in the fridge for about an hour. Take em out, and dredge em again, then toss in the fryer. Always makes mine ultra crispy. If you want to go lighter on the sauce, you can up the amount of pepper you put in with the flour, but hot wings ain't hot wings without the sauce.
