They essentially gave up a backup point-guard (allbeit a good one) and some change, for a very good quality BIG small-forward and a backup power-forward. Now I will pay the fact that Jamison isn't known for being a defensive machine (as you implied) but Fortson did rank about 3rd in rebounding a few years back. As long as one of the big three can step up come playoff time, then surely this an upgrade for the Mavs?!?
Anyway, I can't wait till the season starts. So many good teams this year. Will be awesome.
