My favorite Modest Mouse moment.
Went to Unlimited Sunshine last year w/Cake, Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Kinky, and some other bands.
This couple sitting beside us was a pretty girl/beer-swillin'-fratboy couple. The fratboy was wearing a Modest Mouse shirt. Apparently he had been told that you're supposed to wear the shirt of a cool indie band so everyone knows you're indie.
Modest Mouse took the stage. 1 minute into their first song, fratboy says, "Who the fuck are they?? They SUCK..."
I had to chuckle.
Fratboys=waste of sperm.
