What version of Spybot are you using ? Starting with Spybot version 1.2 there is an Immunity button that I have not had time to try yet. It's supposed to prevent certain known spyware from installing itself, or something like that.
As for popup blockers, I am trying to choose berween Popup Stopper from Panicware and Popup Manager from endpopups.com
They both appear to catch most of the popups.
