That was one of my favorites when I was a kid. I even saw it again not too long ago and it still entertained me. Back when it came out, we didn't have all of these console game systems to keep us sedated on the TV nor did we have the internet. This was a classic adventure movie that made us kids (who most likely already loved the idea of adventure and pirate treasure) have something new to imagine and daydream about. I think we had it a lot better then, although I am sure some will dissagree
