The Death of Paul McCartney
I'm not TOTALLY vain, so I respect that maybe none of you give a rat's butt about the Paul Is Dead stuff like I do. However, if you have any questions, thoughts, confusions, theories, etc., I'll be glad to tackle them.
Here's the basic core of the story: On November 9, 1966, Paul McCartney was in a fatal car accident. The remaining Beatles and their manager "temporarily" replaced him with a Paul look-alike named William Campbell who was only supposed to pose for pictures and public appearances until they could get it all straightened out. The Beatles were forced to stop touring and performing live at that time, and retreated into the studio for the remainder of their careers. Over the next few years, they infused several clues to the true story about Paul into the lyrics and artwork for their albums.
Hoax, or hoax within a hoax? Were the clues a coincidence or intentional?
