Yes, I've been there (notice the past tense). My g/f and I had been going together for a couple of years, both of us in college. My immaturity led me to call off the relationship.
A couple of years later we managed to hook up again and were together for several months but I found that the internal emotions from the past were too much to shake off and I, again, broke it off. (ex-sex is great though)
A couple of years later (again!) we touched bases and had a couple of dates but the chemistry was long gone.
