My dearest friend,

I hope that my following words make justice to your departure. (I’m sorry I don’t say these out loud, but I’ll get too emotional).

So, my dear friend, with these words I bid you farewell. May Lady Luck smile upon you on your every endeavour. Never wander astray from the path of the righteous and wise, and forever may you be as true as you now are. I hope that I was as good a friend as you were to me, and you will be deeply missed. I wish the best for you, and take care of yourself.

Remember your friends, we shall be awaiting eagerly for your return, and despite the distance, we’ll be with you whenever you need us, and whenever you don’t as well.

See you in a few months!
