I've seen a lot of references that recommend running in the morning. The biggest reason is that it jump starts your metabolism and they say that it keeps your metabolism running faster for the majority of the day. I usually end up doing most of my running during the night, mainly because I am totally not a morning person at all. For some reason I enjoy running more at night and can push myself harder when its dark... It's totally mental, I know. Run when you enjoy it most, and when its convenient for you.
