But the dealer MAY be able to tell ya to screw off if you dont follow the maintenence schedule according to the dealer. They could show that not following the schedule was a deliberate customer act against the car, and is your fault, not a problem with the car. Often times if they can show it was your fault and would not have happened if you followed the schedule, then they can have it not covered under warranty. Sorta like if your engine blows up cause you never changed or filled the oil, thats not covered under warranty.

Kinda sucks, but just make sure you got logs of maintenance and that it followed the retailers intervals, then make some noise and hope for the best
