The technique your describing has been used for centuries (no kidding) as a partial method of birth control. It is referred to as coitus reservatus or retrograde ejaculation, the near cousin, I suppose, of coitus interruptus or pulling out before you ejaculate. To properly use this technique, you should grasp your penis at or near the base (not the tip, I'll explain why in a moment) compressing the urethra until closed. The ejaculate does not get held in the testicles, but rather is pushed forward until the constriction made by your fingers. When the ejaculate is stopped by this constriction, it flows backward... into your bladder. Hence the reference to this as retrograde ejaculation. It is perfectly safe for you to do this. The ejaculate, just as your urine, should be perfectly sterile.

Which brings me to the issue of why you should compress lower on your penis than the head. While your ejaculate and your urine are both sterile (unless you have a very serious infection), the surface of your skin is definitely not sterile. In fact, your skin is covered with bacteria all of the time. Some of this bacteria will find its way into the end of your urethra at the tip of your penis. Urinating or ejaculating will push this bacteria outward where it can cause no harm. Praticing retrograde ejaculation and holding your penis near the tip to stop the flow can cause the ejaculate to mix with the skin surface bacteria before being forced back to the bladder... Bad News! you've got a bladder infection. You may have known a chick with a bladder infection. Women are more susceptible due to a shorter urethral distance from the surface to the bladder. Ask around. It is no fun.

So with all of this trouble and bother, why would anyone practice retrograde ejaculation. Well, as I mentioned earlier, people have used it for centuries. Primarily, weathly and educated people, as a method of birth control. Have you ever wondered why kings and nobles of old had many, many concubines, but not very many bastard children. Well, the truth is they probably had more bastards than they readily admitted, but they reduced there chances by practicing this technique. There are records of court sages advising kings of this technique and coitus interruptus as a primitive means of birth control. Now, I wouldn't recommend these techniques for birth control today when there are other more user friendly and effective methods available, but keep in mind that they were IT back in the day.

Ok, so I'm no medieval king and likely neither are you. Why should you care about this? I can give you a couple of really compelling reasons. They both revolve around control. Suppose you are with a woman who loves to give head, but doesn't love the taste of what comes out after. Show her that you can cum without any ejaculate coming out and she'll likely keep going until the last buck of your orgasm without a drop even getting in her mouth. Show her how to hold it and she can control whether or not you are going to shoot off. Some chicks really like the feeling of control this gives them. It also works as a great practice tool. Say your woman wants to try to take a little ejaculate in her mouth, but doesn't want the full load. You (or her) can control just how much comes out by varying the pressure at the base of your penis. By using this technique she can feel very comfortable working up to taking every last drop. And gentlemen, this is something that you want your woman to feel very comfortable about.

Fantastic oral sex not enough motivation for you? Well, there is more. Retrograde ejaculation can be used with practice to produce multiple orgasms for men. Believe it! Just follow these simple guidelines: Remove the source of stimulation (ie. pulling out of mouth or vagina, or stop stroking) after the point of no return, but before ejaculation, and use the retrograde ejaculation technique to keep your stuff in. After your first orgasm is COMPLETE and I mean finished you can begin stimulation again and orgasm all over again sometimes as quick as 15 seconds later, sometimes longer depending on the intensity of stimulation and how long you want to last. It will take some practice to get this right, so get to it. I am not saying that this technique will work for everyone who tries it, but it is worth a shot (sorry, I had to). My personal experience has enabled me to reach three orgasms one after another when going solo and to reach two consecutive with a partner.

More advanced versions of this technique involve dedicated control of the urinary sphincter muscles to do the work of holding closed for you. I personally haven't reached this stage yet, but I would like to be able to. At this stage you would be able to do the trick hands free, opening all sorts of experiences. Best of luck trying out the technique on your own.

Share it with someone you love... or don't! Now it is your choice.
