I would rather play fairly and get my ass kicked (and probably would, have spent something like 10 minutes playing any kind of PC game in the past four months and that was AOE/AOE II).
The point of playing is not to display your expertise at dirty and underhanded techniques, but to showcase your actual skill - or lack thereof.
