just mentioning salt lick makes me want to go now. That family plate (the all you can eat plate) is just so tempting. And no kidding about the BYOB. i've seen tables with empty cardboard cases all over. If you come on the right day, they'll have live music in the waiting area too. And if you go at night, bring a jacket because that place gets really cold at night even if it is Texas.
