Haven't had a chance to use the A2 yet. Too bad, since i've heard good things about the new rifling and the more powerful cartridge, as compared to the A1.

M-240B (and C) - I thought there would never be a weapon good enought to replace the vaunted M60, untill I fired the 240. The boys in Belgium knew what they were doing when they produced this thoroughbred of firepower. Reliable, accurate, and just plain fun to shoot..
I know this baby as the GPMG, by FN. GREAT gun. Definitely my favorite gun of all time. And thats including 25mm cannon, 40mm grenade launchers, .50 Caliber MGs, 84mm recoiless rifles, assorted assault rifles and SAWs.

Rugged, and very very durable. Nothing like ripping a few belts off. Barrel change is easy too. And it doesn't hurt that both the vehicle mounted and grunt mounted weapons are the same thing.....

very nice weapon. Its a bitch to pull through the barrel though. And you gotta baby it a bit. I'll never forget the time we forgot to time both sections before assembling the thing. And of course this was during a live firing. So yayy to live HE rounds stuck in malfunctioning cannon.
