Ruger 10/22
In my opinion the 10/22 is the most fun you can have with a firearm. At about $200 it's also about the cheapest. You can get it in many configurations including blued or stainless, fiberglass, walnut, or laminated stocks, and bull barrels. There are all sorts of accessories, and it's very accurate and reliable. You just can't beat it.
