Like Pragma said.. try hooking the 'new' hard drive up as Secondary Master and leave the old hard drive as Primary Master... Id put any CDROMs as slaves on either chain... If it still doesnt see it.... it sounds like your 'old' hard drive's windows is screwin up... so Id boot into the 'new' hard drive, back up any data you need off the 'old' drive and format and re-install windows on the 'old' drive
