Crazboos - Doctors do know about steroids, but mainly by seeing the complications as people come in to the hospital with problems from taking steroids and expect the doctors to sort them out. So it's unsurprising that you tend to hear very negative things about steroids from doctors.
Yes, steroids can make you more muscular, better at lifting weights etc etc. But yes, steroids can make you have mood swings, lose your hair early, shrink your genitals, give you acne, cause mood swings, increase your risk of heart attack and stroke amongst others. At the end of the day it's all about choice - but it's got to be an informed choice so people realise it's not 'free muscle'
