lol lets see...

in our 14 year old Forgotten Realms campaign
A grey elf cleric of Mystry called

Greystar Asrule Dayspring
lvl 18 cleric (dweomerkeeper)
As most would know elves tend to worship the gods of elves.. Not the Dayspring family.. seems that to coexist with the other gods.. one elven family was chosen to worship the goddess of magic shortly after the old Mystrul cut off High Magic. This let the elves of Evermeet keep the use of Elven High Magic.

In this the Dayspring family was prevented from every living on the isle of Evermeet. They have a honorary holding there to spend several days or months if needed but not permanent.

Our campaign is based on around a lich.. but not an ordinary undead mage lich. This one is nasty.. he was a chosen of mystra and around the time when Netheral fell.. he used several High Elven mages to cast a mythical .. but unlike Myth Drannor this was currupted to make a Dark Mythical. Using Shar's Shadow Weave he created a mythical that blocked out Mystra's power. One of the elves was a great great uncle of Greystars.

This undead mage is responsible for the deaths of millions and the sole cause of our groups goal..

we play table top and with miniatures.. but we hardly have a battle.. we roleplay mostly..

My other char of long standings..

Tenere de Cardiff
7th lvl fighter/16th lvl Transmuter
Chatoic Neutral

Tenere was a noble taken at an early age to become a slave to the Red Wizards of Thay. His aptitude for magic was what singled him out.. His country was put in to slavery and most were slaughtered from fear. Mystra (yet again forgotten realms) his his magical spark, stating to him that to become a wizard.. he needed to learn that spells alone couldn't save him. So he took up the bastard sword and changed his name to Costorf. For several years he mastered the bastard sword.. and after killing the Red Wizard that enslaved him he set out for Myth Drannor and Shadowdale.. (btw Tenere is black.. )

He became a specialist mage in Alteration magic, a transmuter. Thus his destiny began. He learned quickly. after a battle with the famous Elminster and Blackstaff. He learned he was a chosen of Mystra. He then changed his name back to his noble title of Tenere de Cardiff, then opened a can of whoop ass on Thay freeing his people and makeing a name for himself.

his achivements..
killing an army.. they had a black dragon as a tank.. Tenere cast poly other and the dragon failed his spell resistance and save.. changed into a kitten and snapped its neck.. moral check.. the army was broken.. mop up time.. got back to the king and he says.. "reward.. your reward was serving the king." btw being Chatoic Neutral.. Tenere hates any "king" seeing as they set themselves above the normal.. so he killed the king with an agumented III fireball followed by a delayed blast fireball agugmented III...

almost killed Cyric.. he cheated.. he used a spell to save his cowardly ass...

actually Tenere is almost a demi god now.. i havent played him in 3 years.. he stared off in 1st edition as a fighter.. converted him to 2ed and forgotten realms.. then to 3ed d&d and 3ed forgotten realms..

It means only one thing, and everything: Cut. Once committed to fight, Cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. The lines are a portrayal of the dance. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible. Cut with certainty. Cut decisively, resoultely. Cut into his strength. Flow through the gaps in his guard. Cut him. Cut him down utterly. Don't allow him a breath. Crush him. Cut him without mercy to the depth of his spirit. It is the balance to life: death. It is the dance with death. It is the law a war wizard lives by, or he dies.
