Here's one I've played recently.
Pathfinder:
Witchdoctor (6/6 Cleric/Sorcerer)
Wemic (think of a Centaur, but half-lion instead of half-horse)
Prince of the tribe on the plains near the lake.
His father is a Warrior King, his mother is the tribal Shaman.
Obviously he's taken more after his mother than father,
not physical like most in his tribe, he's grown more into the Diplomat role.
He's formal and wise, calm & collected, sometimes a bit arrogant.
knows how use his presense & powers to their best.
His clerical focus is more toward animals & plants since that's where he grew.
His sorcerer's focus tends to reflect more natural or defensive magics.
His tribe's natural enemies are Gnolls (Hyena vs. Lion)
And does diplomacy & trade missions for his tribe.
Currently, he's been drawn into a adventure to investigate what is disrupting the spice trade routes
between his tribal nation & a queendom far away.
He hasn't spent that much time in "human" civilization.
The permanent buildings are strange to him, since his is nomadic.
And his size & looks are intimidating to others.
But his natural leadership & common sense have brought him to the fore
as the decision maker for the strange group he's been thrown in with.
(Himself, a Half-dragon Wizard, a Druid/rogue, a Psionicist, a Rogue/sage, & a Minotaur Warrior)
They are to investigate & resolve this matter.
