heh. i conditioned myself to like punk/indie stuff. my first general admission show was from a riot grrl band from my hometown [which is also my quote from my signature but thats beside the point] i'd never heard of... but i LOVED them. and i just became fascinated by indie non-mainstream music and got into some of the local punk scene too. so i got some free shit [cds] at a punk show once and just started playing that nonstop until i loved it. music always grows on me after awhile. but just the whole scene appealed to me to begin with anyway.
