Two atoms were walking down the street, not paying attention.
They bumped into each other and one got knocked to the ground.
The other reached down to help him up, with an apology, "Oh, my gosh! I am so sorry, I wasn't paying attention. Are you okay?"
The fallen atom stood, and brushed himself off. "No, actually I believe I have lost an electron!"
"Oh, no! I am so sorry, are you sure?"
"Yes, I'm positive."
