In the tape series "Lead the Field" Earl Nightengale defines success as "The progressive realization of a worthy goal." The working toward the goal is where the fulfillment comes from, so once you've achieved the goal, if you don't have another goal already in place to turn your efforts toward, you will feel unfulfilled and empty.
Nightengale uses the example that children are always happier in the days leading up to Christmas than they are on Christmas day after all the gifts have all been opened.
You should sit down and outline some worthy goals to focus on. You'll find that you'll get the spark back in your life.
