Hope you guys read this part. It didn't open my eyes; I already knew all this crap and just shrug it off. In order for one race of people to live comfortably, another must suffer. That's simply the way it has always been. Should we all throw our wealth away because these people are suffering? It's a matter of haves and have-nots. I wish I could allude to the Bible here, but I can't, because I'm not a Bible junkie and have only read Genesis once and understood next to nothing of it. The reason that I am saying this is because I am pretty sure that the Bible says something about certain people having to suffer in order to support the luxuries of the wealthy. Some day things might turn around, and Asians might be the most powerful people on Earth and all caucasians will be living in third-world conditions in order to support the wealth of the Asians. It could happen-- in fact, it probably will happen in the next couple of hundred years. Things change. One set of people must suffer in order for another set to prosper. It's the exact same fucking bullshit even in "nature" (setting aside the fact that human beings are part of nature as well...) Small fish get eaten by the big fish, period. Those fish get eaten by even bigger fish. You're pretty idealistic or just plain insane if you think you can change the natural order of things. If you were a little fish with a conscience, you'd find that being a small fish is a very difficult and oppressive life to live, and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. is going to swim along and eat you, whether you like it or not. It's not that there's anything wrong with the world, it is simply that we have not evolved past the animal stage. We are still exactly the same as any other animal, except slightly more civilized and (sometimes) more adept in specialized areas. Sure, you can say that a rocket scientist is extremely intelligent, but mostly in rocket scientry. Specialized field. The rest of their being consists of purely animalistic behavior. Probably the only people who have evolved past the animalistic stage are geniuses-- those who's intelligence is not specialized or centralized, but instead encompasses all aspects of life. The day that you see all these things vanish is the same day that everyone will become geniuses. I am no genius, I am a moron just like the next person. Fortunately, I accept this and am capable of seeing beyond my animalistic tendencies every now and then.
