If you don't know if you FE, one way to find out is to have your lover (male or female) give you oral sex *and* stimulate your G-spot at the same time (mix and match as you like).
"Lubricating mucus" tastes different from FE. Lubrication doesn't have much of a taste but FE takes kind of like semen. There is only a small amount of it and it isn't as salty.
If your lover has his/her mouth down there when you ejaculate, he/she can tell you when it happens. You will then know that you can do it and will know what it feels like.
An alternative would be to bring yourself off and lick your fingers as you go. The problem is that you might not be able to do both at the same time and you might not get the full flavor by licking your fingers.
