I don't think there is any punishment that this man can receive that would be fair to these women for what they went through.
As far as I understood it - they were all released when this one woman managed to call for help. If I misread this as the women has been released they possibly thought that there was no one who would believe them. Besides the fact that he may have threatened them. In that kind of situation the psychological manipulation is tremendous. The woman truely believes that if she tells he can and will come back after her. Besides - if someone has gone through that kind of thing who would want to have to relate it again and again as they would when telling the police and then in court and then to the psychologist. Some believe it's better if they just try to forget it.
Even if they hadn't been free until this girl managed to get help then the damage done to them is so great that there is nothing that this man can pay or do that will rectify what these women have gone through. I just hope that he never gets out and that he is left to the "justice" that the prisoners may pay him.
My heart goes out to those women. I hope they can move on and that this doesn't follow them wherever they go.
