Eddie Izzard is exceptionally funny.
If you like southern humor and comedians, rent the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour". It's sort of the redneck version of the Kings of Comedy, but not nearly as vulgar.
I have seen George Carlin live three times, and have never been disappointed.
