In addition of the NIN musicians and sound engineers (Sean Beavan, Dave "Rave Olgivie...), Tapeworm will feature some famous guests: Maynard James Keenan (Tool / A Perfect Circle), Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Page Hamilton (Helmet), Atticus Ross (12 Rounds). Beside these names, there is also a long list of unconfirmed artists -such as Toni Halliday (Curve), Neil Taylor (Snake River Conspiracy), Marilyn Manson, Chris Vrenna (ex- NIN), Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle), Kevin Mac Mahon (Prick), Scott Putesky - a.k.a. "Daisy Berkowitz"- (ex- Marilyn Manson / Jack Off Jill), Richard Patrick (Filter), Tommy Victor (Prong), Rob Zombie (White Zombie), Flake Lorenz (Rammstein), Chris Randall (Sister Machine Gun), Tod A. (Cop Shoot Cop / Firewater), Perry Farrel (Porno For Pyros / ex- Jane's Addiction), Jared (Chemlab), etc...- who might be part of the Tapeworm project. According to a Nine Inch Nails fan who attended the NIN private dress rehearsals in Los Angeles in April 2000, D. Lohner told him after the show that "he even wanted Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) to work with them on Tapeworm"...

So far, several tracks that are allegedly the work of Tapeworm have surfaced on p2p networks. There's "Slowdriver," an electronic song with lyrics that seem to fit in witha sci-fi movie, backing rumors of the album being released as a soundtrack. I have heard several of these, including one which supposedly features Marilyn Manson singing for a remake of Pink Floyd's "The Wall." "Vacant," another Tapeworm song, has been performed live by A Perfect Circle.
Some of the guys promised a release by fall of '99, so we might see ti be the time they're dead.
