I enjoyed it.
Quartermain (Connery) sucked
And Sawyer was blah.
but the rest of the heros were cool.
Dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde was done well.
Nemo, I loved him (I did not expect the martial arts which was a pleasure)
The IM was witty but not overly so
Dorian Grey was interesting and smooth.
Mina Harker was wonderful and beautiful (well played)
The villians were ho-hum and clumsy.
I enjoyed this as the fantasy it was, and like all the references to the classics. (just like the graphic novel)
The scene in Venice was a bit over the top though,
they could have done without it, I think.
But it was a nice summer movie overall, and not a waste of money.
I'd go see it again.
