I saw LXG last night and I found it very entertaining.
LXG is simply a fun action movie to watch. The plot is so-so and its not realistic at all but if you just use your imagination a bit you'll find it to be good fun. This is a movie that you have to be open minded about. Critics are way to cynical for this movie so they reviewed it poorly.
The cool thing about this movie for me is how I read about most of these characters in books and now I get to see them kick some ass on screen. I don't think they ruined those characters they just expanded upon their special abilities.
I would reccomend this movie to anyone who enjoys Sean Connery's films. Also, to anyone looking for a good fun action film. Despite some "scary" images this would be a good movie to bring kids too. I don't recall any foul language or sex scenes. Granted there were some mild inuendos. I think most kids would enjoy the action and adventure the movie offers.
In conclusion LXG is a movie full of action and adventure. It shouldn't be thought of as anything else.
