AL == NY, Minnesota, Seattle - Wild Card - OAkland
The Cubs are hurt by the loss of Patterson. In St Louis Jocketty makes a deal for a pitcher to shore up the rotation and then they get healthy. Atlanta has too big of a lead already and they have enough experience not to wilt down the stretch.
In the AL - Big George just makes me sick by buying another pennant, Seattle is just a solid team with a big enough lead to hold off Oakland. The AL Central is a coin toss, whoever doesn't suck the most. If Santana stays in the Twins rotation they have the pitching to stay ahead of the pack.
